I find myself sitting in the back of a taxi car as I am trying to reach the central side of Rio de Janeiro. As I am driving in the dark of the night I can help but notice the wore down buildings that are way overdue for repairs, child beggars, high class hotels which are plastered all over this part of the city.
Suddenly my thoughts are interrupted by the taxi stopping in front of my destination outside of Le cache Suites. At the asking price of 60 american dollars a night, beyond the dreams of the average brazilian, but cheap by American standards. I ask the driver how much, and he replies, 500 pesos. I scan the dashboard, but there is no sign of a meter, despite a sticker on the windscreen stating that the meter has been approved and officially sealed. I reach for my wallet, but my shemale companion stops me, leans into the front, and pulls away the cloth that the driver had used to conceal the meter. It says 90 pesos. She says a few sharp words in portuguese and gives him 100. There is no fooling this black shemale. She is not a peasant from a small towm but rather a born city girl equipped with all the street smarts.
I am impressed by the hotel I am in. The quality of the accommodation and service is second to none, my only complaint being that the hot water is not what I would call hot. But then, I have never stayed anywhere in the city where hot was as hot as I like it – and anyway, when I do manage to get hot bathwater, my shemale friend won’t get in with me. The room is quite large, elegantly decorated, and the bed is huge. The black shemale thinks it is like like the kings place – but then, she is used to sleeping on a mat in a shack squeezed up with about 10 other people.
What I really like about the hotel is that it is close to the night life area, the nearest club being about 300 feet from the front door. This is great because I don’t like limiting myself to just one woman and it feels great to know that anytime I feel like it I can go down the street and pick a new shemale up and bring her back to my room if it comes down to it.
